Christmas 2015 / New Year 2016

NEWSLETTER

Dear All,

December and New year newsletter, as the New Year fast approaches , some reflections, the demand for “CLASSIC VANS” seems to be ever increasing !

Over the past few months I have had enquiries from potential buyers from as far as the USA and price seem to be for ever on the up!

Whilst supplying parts to the UKs leading specialist ice-cream van manufacturer, I could not be more than impressed as to their level of skill and the number of Heritage  projects being undertaken all very hearting.

A retiring customer has on offer a much sort after Smiths Body CA, please contact me for his number (offers over £8,000) he is based in the NE of England.

On the subject of CA parts, I have located just a few new starter ring gears for the petrol 1508 and 1600cc model.

A now completed project is the BEDFORD CA  timing cover gasket, with matching front crankshaft oil-seal and either late or early  timing chain tensioner, this involved new tooling to be made, and just a few sets of new hub caps for the post 1957 BEDFORD CA.

If under taking  a restoration project most of our listed repair panels are made to order , so may not be instantly off the shelf please bear that in mind!  there is only myself, and I do not  have “Amazon” like resources.

The range of stainless steel exhausts we supply has grown to now include Morris Ital 1330/1700 models and Wolseley 1500 as well as the Bedford CA+CF systems.

Earlier this year we were glad to release a reproduction CF lower bottom ball joint for the years 1976-88, and ball joints for some of the JENSEN FF range (sold exclusively by CROPREDY BRIDGE GARAGE) the experts.

The one thing I do not have is time !!

Where does it go to?

I still have boxes of new unused Chevette and other

Vauxhall parts acquired some years ago, I did start

listing it, then other things cropped as they do, like

“Life”.

As always I very much appreciate the custom over

the past 12 months and wish you all good health

for 2016, enjoy the coming festive season!
